What's New in ProScore v5.4.2

The following list outlines all the changes and enhancements that were made to each revision of ProScore 5.  The v5.4.2 release includes ALL of the following revisions.  They are listed separately so that you can more easily determine the new features that were added for a particular revision.

These features were added in v5.4.2

  • Added the option on the Results screen to list the Rotations by squad. This can be useful for event finals sessions.
  • Added the option to LiveServer to show the rotations by squad.
  • Added an option for the Rotation Schedule report showing gymnasts in competition order report to page break between flights. Putting each flight on a new page was the original behavior. Now you have the choice to keep both flights on a single page. If no break is selected and there is not enough room for both flights on a single page, it will spill over onto a second page.
  • Added an option to ignore the Level when accepting changes after verifying athletes.
  • Modified the database for the JudgePanels table to add a new field for the USAG Verification system.
  • Modified the USAG Import in ProScore to have the new Men's compulsory levels/divisions and removed some old ones. The new levels will match to J1, J2, XB, XS, XG in the Level Setup.
  • USAG is no longer providing the U100 status and none of the Pro Member expiration dates for Membership, Background, Safety. Therefore, the Pro Verify and any of the update functions to update a professional member will no longer fill in the expiration dates or the U100 status.
  • The Pro Verify and Athlete Verify functions are now using the new USAG verification system that checks everything that is needed for an athlete, coach or judge to be eligible to participate in the sanctioned meet the verification was performed for.
  • Updated the Coach Pro Exceptions report to no longer print the expiration dates or U100. It will now print the verification status instead.
  • Updated the Coach Sign In report to no longer print the expiration dates or U100. The report now provides the option to only print the verified coaches or all coaches even if they have not been verified.
  • Modified ScoreGen to change the iKeypad trial designation to an iKeypad rental designation.

These features were added in v5.4.1

  • Fixed an issue where an error would occur when opening the Results screen when more than 4 squads exist in the first session.

These features were added in v5.4.0

  • Fixed an issue with the USA Gymnastics reservation sync where an error would appear if the updated first or last name was longer than the field length. Now any names that are longer than what is allowed are truncated.
  • Made it so the Team Results parameters (number of scores to count, team designation, team id to use) are all remembered. This will make it easier since ProScore will now remember the last settings used.
  • Made it so that when a new Keypad or Scoreboard ID is entered that all the sessions are selected by default when iKeypads are enabled.
  • Added a Message Center to ScoreGen to allow you to communicate to the head judge iKeypad at each event using a messaging system that is similar to text messaging. (Requires iKeypad app v3.0)
  • Added large text indicator to the Rotation view on the Results screen to indicate the currently selected rotation and flight. This will help make it easier to see what rotation/flight you are viewing at a glance.
  • Increased the number of sessions shown on the drop-down selections on several screens.
  • Added support for importing the Women's Hopes level from USA Gymnastics.

These features were added in v5.3.2

  • Fixed an issue with the Event Results - Multi AP File creation when the 2 attempt option is enabled.
  • Changed the way ProScore communicates with the USAG and RTN when establishing a secure connection for API transactions. ProScore used to use the WinInet.dll but now uses internal mechanisms for the connection. This is to eliminate the trouble with Windows Internet security settings interfering with ProScore's ability to make a connection to USAG and RTN.
  • Changed the Pro Verification Quick Check field to allow up to 7 digit member IDs to be entered.
  • Renamed the Missing USAG Number report to be called Athlete Exceptions. The report will now list all athletes that either do not have a USAG number entered or have not been verified through the Verify Athletes function.

  • Added the option to include or not include NCAA event exhibition athletes from the event results.
  • Fixed an issue with DakGen where it was not including the second event group in the NCAA cycle when dual-sessions were enabled.

  • Fixed a few places where gym name lists were not being displayed in a case-insensitive manner.
  • Modified the database for the Meets table to add a field for a globally unique identifier (GUID). The GUID is a unique ID that is assigned to a meet and will never change. This ID will be globally unique which means that no other ProScore meet will have the same ID regardless of which ProScore installation created the meet.
  • Added the Event Group, Level, Age Group to the Team Results HTML output for the Web/FTP publishing.

If it is set to zero, the break will now calculate the position of the break for each squad so that the break occurs at the middle of the squad with the larger portion at the top in the case of an odd number of athletes.
  • Made a small change to the NCAA Rotation Schedule. The athletes that are not checked for a specific event but have a competition order or are an AA will now appear in italic print on the report.
  • Made a small change the to Multi-Meet Meet Results report to reformat how the FIG information for each meet was displayed to not take up as much room and therefore fit more athletes on a page.
  • Added the Team1, Team2, and Team3 fields as sortable fields to the Gym Roster and Session Registration reports.

  • Added the ability to see both flights when assigning squads. This allows you to move athletes between flights while also changing squads.
  • Modified the Auto Squad Balance function to have an option to balance across flights. This means that all the athletes in a session will be balanced as a whole into all squads in both flights.

  • Fixed an issue in ProScore where the Rotation view on the Results screen would not list the athletes in session order if multiple sessions were selected to display.
  • Modified the Meet Summary report to allow up to 20 levels to be printed on the report. The font size was reduced to accommodate the extra levels. This now allows more lines to be printed per page. It is now possible with lots of levels and lots of clothing sizes being tracked for the columns to grow too large to all be printed on the page.
  • Fixed a small issue in the ScoreGen Countdown Timer where if the countdown minutes are edited after the timer has already been started the new value may not be used when the timer automatically restarts.
  • Modified ScoreGen to add an option to automatically fill in the adjustment with -.1 when the Adjust key on the keypad is pressed. This only happens if there is no previous adjustment entered. This should make it easier to enter overtime and out-of-bounds deductions. The judge simply now has to press Adjust followed by Enter since the -.1 will already be filled in. • Modified all the necessary screens and reports to add the U100 completion field.

  • Modified the Session Assignments screen in ProScore to show the scratched athletes with a line drawn through them and to not count the scratched athletes in the totals.

These features were added in v5.0.2

  • Modified the Pro Member Verification to display more prominently when a coach is Inactive, Pending, Expired, Wrong Program, or Not A Member. These will now be displayed with a Red background to highlight the problem.
  • Fixed an issue in ProScore with the generated filenames for reports. Illegal filename characters were not being removed from the generated filename.
  • Added an option to the Publish to MSO function to "Show all teams?" for Team Results. This is exactly like the printed report and allows to show all teams even if they did not have enough scores to count for team.
  • Modified ProScore to re-purpose the Verify Coaches function to also include Judges. The screen has now been renamed Verify Pro Information and has been relocated from the Gyms Attending screen out onto the main toolbar. The function still works exactly as before except now any judges that are assigned to the meet will also be included in the verification process.
  • Fixed an issue in ProScore with the PTF import that could cause a Variant Type Conversion error when processing coaches or judges.
